Zelda

Posted by triforce624 on March 8, 2008

Recently, rumours have circulated around the Internet of a new Zelda game being released by some game company (forgot the name). Next to no details have been released yet, but I am quite excited over this happening. I’m just gonna be mad if it’s for Wii, since I do not have one. I have a GameCube and a DS. I hate Zelda games I can’t play because I don’t have the right console. It’s just down-right embarassing.

Not many Zelda games do not have sequels yet, except for like Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, and a few others. So there is quite a little chance that the new game will be a sequel, so that kind of 67% narrows down the plot.

  1. The next Zelda game is for Wii i think… “Links Crossbow Training”

  2. Link’s Crossbow Training has already come out, I believe.

  3. yea, it has. The company’s called Retro Studios. I’ve written a couple of articles about this situation already. It’s still very early to tell though. With regards to timeline, Twilight Princess is the sequel to Ocarina of Time, and after TP is A Link to the Past. For the next zelda game on Wii, we should see either a sequel to A Link to the Past, or a Sequel to Phantom Hourglass…unless of course they make a game in between the storylines.

  4. oops. Sorry for dp, but M of light. I’ve thought, and in terms of reviews, I’ll review songs, instead of albums, and I also look into band profiles. I’ll need some time obviously to write up a bunch first. Maybe a month. Then I’ll start posting them.

  5. You can review anything you may want related to music. Just make it your personal column. If you want to review songs and bands, then you can be in charge of the Artist/Song of the Week. Just email or pm me the artist/song you want to be featured, so I can get the song up In the Corner. You may post the reviews on the artists or just email them if you want them in the page.

  6. I’ll post them as articles. Mind you, I wont be posting one every day. Songs will probably be weekly, and bands will probably be every 2 months.

  7. I don’t remember it being out in stores yet… I thought it was just a rumor.. Go figure i guess.

  8. It’s not in stores. Just a rumor.

  9. It’s Ok, Mario, you can write whenever you have the time. What I meant by personal column is that you post the articles with a name to differentate them from mine (Weekly Album Reviews), like Mario64Mario’s Music Zone. If you want a song to be Song of the Week, just pm me a short review on the band/artist and/or the song, so I can add it to that page (I don’t know if authors can post or make pages).

Links Crossbow Training came out last year, but it was just shooting bows at targets (moving or not), nothing to explore, just training.

  10. MercenaryLight, can I do music stuff? I have been very into downloading and listening to mp3s lately.

  11. Sure. Maybe you want to vote for next week’s artist/song of the month too (you may nominate anyone that has at least five non-explicit songs).

  12. heh. Okay. Ill look into a title then.

  14. ??? Another game?

  15. MERCENARY LIGHT’S BLOG IS ALMOST AT 1000 HITS!! YAY!!!! PARTY!!!!!!!!

  16. Yeah, in about a week or so. I think I’ll add something special to the blog on that day. Tomorrow I’ll make an album review (now moved to Wednesdays). And do you want someone for next week’s artist/song of the week (since nobody’s voting or nominating someone). Just tell me the name and I’ll do the rest.

  17. Do Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce. That’s my fav :)

  18. Well i’ll be.. Links Crossbow Training really was released awhile ago.

  19. Triforce: Ok, I’ll do it for next week. It’s really a good song by a great band. Do you want to write a short review for it too, just your opinion on the band or song.

SL; You’re better left without it. It wasn’t a really good game.

  20. Triforce: Do Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce. That’s my fav

-.- It’s too fast paced! Do you even know the name of another one of their songs? Without Wikipedia? (or google :P ) I vote “Afterlife” by Avenged Sevenfold or “You Burn First” by Alexisonfire.

  21. Well from now on, vote for on the Artist/Song page. I’ll put all 3 songs up for voting there, since Triforce won’t be on the pc for some time, I’ll put it In the Corner and do their review when he returns to the web.

  22. heh. He’s back. M of Light. Expect a new article tomorrow. (from me, of course)

  24. Ok, but vote for your songs/artists on the Artist/Song of the Week page. It’s there for a reason.

  25. “It’s there for a reason.”
LOL! I can’t write today, but I probably will tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

  26. What’s so funny mario?

  27. All you have to do is vote. I’ll probably select the Artist/Song on Wednesday with my reviews.

  28. @ SL – “It’s there for a reason.”
    That’s whats funny ^.^

@ M of Light – I’ll vote tonight, right after I write my article.

  29. Twilight Princess does NOT have a sequel. Link’s Crossbow Training is a spinoff to the main series….
And Retro Studios is helping Nintendo make the next Zelda game. You know, like how Capcom helped Nintendo make Oracle of Ages and Seasons.

  30. Welcome to Merc Light’s Blog, Zephyrlink and thanks for affiliating with us. I’ll put the link to the forum soon, so you could register and visit when you have the time.

  31. CORRECTION: Ocarina does have a sequel. It’s Majora’s Mask.
